THE WEB PRINCIPLE

I went to a place this week and I saw a spider weaving a web, this is obviously not a new sight but for some reason I felt compelled to watch. I was interested in the craft. I know it is kinda creepy talking about a spider but endure a little more and you might learn something.

So, as I was saying, I watched carefully and I was interested in this spider and its web. It wasn’t in a hurry to weave it and it took its time and patiently made that web pattern. When it was done, it settled down and moved a couple of centimeters away and waited. An unlucky fly ran into the invisible web and got trapped and this spider swiftly ran to the venue. The fly struggled to break free but the spider was quick to make a mommy out of the fly with thicker and stickier webs it produced. Then, it settled and ate its meal. What did I learn?
A few principles:
Preparation: It is key. It gives you an edge. It serves as a trap to catch opportunities. Be prepared so that when the opportunity comes, you wont be caught unaware. Your efforts may not be visible to people outside but that’s the beauty of it. Your secret hard work, pays openly.

Patience: After all the preparations, exercise patience, Wait! Watch! Be vigilant! Don’t be idle. Be expectant and keep your eyes on the road. Be ready to attack the opportunity and make something out of it. If you don’t watch, you won’t see
Pounce: Pounce on your opportunity. Be sure it is what you want and then pounce on it. Don’t let it escape. Sometimes your preparation may not be strong enough to trap the opportunity for long but your ability to pounce on it in time is what helps you make out an achievement out of the opportunity.
Finally Enjoy what you have worked for. Don’t dull yourself. In the process of enjoyment, remember to invest for the future. You’ll eat only where you work and harvest only what you sow.
Be wise. If a spider can be this smart, you can be smarter. Use this principles and success will never be far from you. Your friends might mock you now but they’ll be your spectators in the enjoyment stage.

THE MAJOR RULE

MAJOR RULE

Life is a crazy play

Too bad we never get a chance to rehearse

Before staging it in front of an audience

We cannot even edit it

The irony of it all is that

We are the directors and

The major character at the same time

Somehow some things are permitted by us

Some things are the outcome of our choices

The playwright wrote a script with gaps

A 2dimensional script

Which we fill in the course of the stage performance

By the decisions we make

Still, there are scenes that we cannot alter

Some things happen without our consent

Our other casts have a mind of their own

We may or may not be able to correct their mistakes

We may or may not be able to make up for their shortcomings

But we are still somehow in charge

I guess you are like me

Wishing we had the complete script in our hands

Wishing we knew how the play would end

Wishing we had a chance to rehearse before staging

Wishing we could take back some scenes, characters or words

Wishing we could scrap some scenes

Wishing we could act some parts better

Wishing we were the playwrights

Too bad wishes are just that, “wishes

They are only real in fairy tales not reality

And this is our reality

We have made mistakes and had terrible experiences

We may not be able to change it

But we can definitely avoid repeating them

Life might be unfair sometimes

But every punishment is a lesson

The playwright is molding us into awesome characters

Some mistakes and circumstances are our elevators to the top

So I have learned

Rather than wallow in self pity and give up

Take responsibility, take charge and charge

Become a better you

You can never be too careful or take too much risk

You can never know it all

Keep learning and keep ruling

Before wisdom comes knowledge

It is what you know you practice

Hold your head up high

The joy of falling is picking yourself up

And walking in determination not to make the same mistakes

Determination not to fall again

And continue your journey to the top

Great things await you

Persistence is the key

I have learned

I am still learning

I have taken the giant step to keep pressing on

Stop the regrets and self pity

It does not change a thing

What makes the difference is moving on

Making corrections

Becoming a better you

Stronger and unique

I am stepping up

You can too

Major rule …Never give up

You Only Live Once

Love,

Einsteinette
